firebird - scroll bars and navigation arrows missing?

Post by its ash »

hello,

I installed firebird 0.7, and it works fine.

I've looked everywhere for an answer and havn't found one.

In the navigation toolbar, there are no back or forward buttons. Is there meant ot be? or is there any way i can get them? (im not really concerned about the foward button).

Also, there is no scroll bar. this prevents me from scrolling down and up a webpage. I am currently using the up / down arrows and page up / down. How can i make it appear?

All i know about firebird is how to install, please don't get really detailed.

Thanx in advance.

Im using the theme 'orbit red'.

I think i have found a solution for it, but i'm not sure what the reason was.

Could it just be this theme?

It could be the theme. Did Firebird Help have a big label like "This theme is not compatible" ?

Orbit Red should work on the 0.7 milestone. Can you paste the string from Help -> about in this thread?

Hmm... I have exactly the same problem, using both Orbit Green and Smoke. Here's my Help -> About:

Ok, Smoke isn't buggy. Here's what happens -
When I start up mozilla (with Orbit Green), the aforementioned problems occur, and do not disappear if I change the theme or open a new window. But if I change the theme *and* open a new window, everything is fine in the new window. Then, if I change the theme (of the new window) back to Orbit Green, it works just fine.
