Whatever I do, and I have tried at least a dozen times, I cannot run Firebird on my machine.
I extract the zip correctly and run the exe. but i only get the error message: "Erroro launching browser window: no XBL binding for browser"
PLEASE will someone help me out here. It's driving me insane. I was using this browser a lot recently; I don't know what's gone wrong....
Many thanks for help

Probably a rogue extension or theme that caused that error. If you can remember the last thing you installed, don't install it anymore until there's an update version. =) You'll have to create a new profile and migrate your bookmarks, settings, etc.

Did you really correctly extract the zip file? Do you have any subfolders in the dir you extracted it to?

Re: Cannot run Firebird
hi
I am having the same problem by using the latest nightlybuild of MozillaFirebrid with linux ( SuSE 8.2 ). I also tried to delete the profile without any positive result. I did not install any extentions for this MozillaFirebird version.
bye
