There goes the Vertical Scroll Bar again

I've read a few posts about The Great Disappearing Vertical Scroll Bar; mine's gone, apparently without a forwarding address. The only solutions posted reference switching themes; I've gone between FireBird and Nautilus 1.6, but restarting in either does not solve the problem. (Themes switch while running on this build, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031215 Firebird/0.7+).

My hunch is that the listing under Themes called "Modern" may be at the root of the problem, because switching to this item does nothing, and I don't know if it's a corrupted theme file or something else.

In any event, I'm hesitant to uninstall/reinstall because I'm thrilled to have finally got Java etc, working by using the Seb installer. So does anyone know of a fix that does not require a complete reinstall?

After installing Nautilus 0.7b over 1.6, which didn't occur to me until after my original post... mea culpa...
