Linux + Firebird + Flash = ?

Post by Guest »

I've had a look at the documentation on this forum, but I still have nfi how to install flash onto Firebird.

If it helps: Mandrake 9.2 (kernel 2.4.22-26mdk) FB 0.7

Sorry, that didn't work. I stuck libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt into /home/thom/.phoenix/plugins, restarted FB (even logged out/back in) and it won't work.

Is there anything else?

They go in the plugins directory of the main firebird directory.

If Flash Player does not work, make sure you have a compatible version of libstdc++ present (libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3). On RedHat based systems, install the package "compat-libstdc++" (Package "compat" on SuSE, "libstdc++2.10" on Mandrake 9.2).

After I did that, it worked on my system...

Can somebody show me where to get libstdc++2.10 then? I googled to no avail.
