Firebird 0.7 Unable to Download Files

Hi All,

I am using Firebird 0.7 on Windows XP Home. Everything was fine initially but I am not able to download any files off the Web recently - e.g. a graphics driver EXE file I wanted to apply. The "Enter name of file to save to..." prompt appears, but the next window just disappears in a flash. It's not a small file, and when I checked the download folder nothing was saved. This has happened to all the files I wanted to download, although I can save images from webpages without any problem.

I have scrubbed my previous installation (removed folder) and re-installed but to no avail.

Anyone with any idea what's happening? Is there some config setting I have to tweak?

Scrub your profile and try again; it sounds like you broke a preference somewhere.
