Just for the record... Firefox 2 is NOT going to receive ANY further Development from Mozilla. It is being Discontinued in approximately four months time.
You are, of course welcome to develop a version with better cookie handling for yourself, but Mozilla will not be doing it.
Also you can stop Doubleclick in its tracks, by using NoScrpit or YesScript... If you do not allow it to run its scripts, it cannot leave any cookies......
