Hey All,
I was recently given a Dell Precision M90. The touchpad has the mouse buttons below the pad with left, middle, and right buttons. I generally click these buttons with my thumb. My problem is that sometimes when I click the left button, my thumb will also click the middle button as well. This usually has no decremental effects unless I happen to be clicking on a browser tab, in which case the tab will close.
Is there a config setting that will disable "close tab on middle-click"?
I greatly enjoy the "open link in new tab on middle-click" feature, so I don't want to fully disable the middle click button. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again and have a great day!! ^_^
Phade.

Sorry, I don't see a preference for that in about:config, there is one for turning off the opening of a tab from a middle-click but not one for closing them.
Maybe one of the various Tab-browsing extensions has preference for that action, but I can't advise you as to which one might.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

Tab Clicking Options extension. You can make middle-clicking a tab "do nothing".
