Firefox doesn't work

Hi,

Since yesterday I am unable to work in Firefox (2.0.0.6, and it says it is downloading 2.0.0.9). I cannot open a window.

I work in Win XP SP2, I have 2 computers connected in a small Network that only I use. And the problem occurs only with the laptop (I can send this message from desktop). Laptop is blocked for Firefox, but my Skype, Outlook, and Yahoo Messenger work. I tried to restart several times, there is nothing I can do. I am not aware I made any change.

I would be very grateful for your help.

As I said, my username is not recognized, I had to invent another one, and I have been told to post a message here. I don't know how to go to the Firefox support.
