How to I get rid of a Search Settings Notification box pop up? It appears every time I change tabs or open a new page. You have to click on it you cant ignore it. It states 'Your search settings have been restored to their default settings'.
Also when I open a new tab, rather than a blank page I now get 'Welcome to Tabbed Browsing' the address bar has this in it chrome://searchsettingsplugin/skin/tabwelcome.html.
How do i get rid of these annoyances?

I can't seem to find 'email@example.com' in 'c:\Program Files\Firefox\extensions\firstname.lastname@example.org' and wondered if anyone had any other suggestions on how I could remove this?
I was getting this too but it said "yahoo has blocked..." popup. I tried several things but what seemed to have worked was I restored my computer to 3 or 4 days prior to when I remember the pop-up started. So far, it has not come back...I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
