Clicking links often shows "GIF Image 1x1 pixels"

Well, the default anti-spyware/virus program is something called "Safe & Secure"... But that's another had before/after thing.

Can't anyone help me...?

Kaspersky 7 blocked this, unless you set it otherwise, but changing the setting for this can put you in peril. Kaspersky 2009 (8) doen't appear to have this feature "On", in the default install, but may if you upgrade with the setting on. These settings effect all Browsers, not just Firefox, but Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.

I had this exact same problem. I turned off my Kaspersky protection and all went back to normal. Of course I've turned it back on since but at least I know where the problem lies. Hey KeysRalph, do you know what setting in Kaspersky I need to look at to deal with this?

tnx.. I disabled the banner ad blocker..from kaspersky.... and it worked out..

Do u have kaspersky antivirus installed?? this can be caused because of the anti-banner feature
