Weird problem

Post by Guy2342352 »

Do you know the little box that appears under your cursor that explains a link or section of the page if you hover over it? Well if I do that the text it appears everywhere on the page when I stop moving the cursor. Any suggestions?

Wow, I forgot to close it in the background. It does not occur in safe mode.

Does it do that in a new profile?

Ok, never mind about the new profile then...

Run through the standard diagnostic link I gave you. You've probably got an extension or theme causing the problem.

"Moola BoosterBar .38", I don't use it much now anyway, so glad to see it go.

thanks for this post. I just resolved a persistent tooltip that's been bugging me for a week. Turns out to be a dodgy extension for the Freecycle website that seems to be incompatible with Firefox 3. Anyway problem goes away when I disable it.

Cheers!
