Firefox starts in Work Offline mode

I have a wireless card on my pc...when I use it to connect to the internet, FF always starts with Work Offline ticked...and so I have to untick it.....why is this and how can I change it?

I don't know how to do it with Linux, but you need to type this command in :

firefox.exe -ProfileManager

I am betting that "Work offline" is ticked. Change that, and it should be all good.

In the address bar type about:config

Search for browser.offline

Double-click the Value for it to show False

Nope,.....did not work....i.e. still opened in Work Offline mode.....

I had the same problem and tried searching for the answer. No such luck, but I did find a small work around concerning NetworkManager that doesn't involve completely uninstalling it. See the post I made regarding this on my site:
