Firefox starts in Work Offline mode

I have a wireless card on my pc...when I use it to connect to the internet, FF always starts with Work Offline ticked...and so I have to untick it.....why is this and how can I change it?
I don't know how to do it with Linux, but you need to type this command in :
firefox.exe -ProfileManager I am betting that "Work offline" is ticked. Change that, and it should be all good. Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level, then beat you with their experience.
You can try this too.
In the address bar type about:config Search for browser.offline Double-click the Value for it to show False

Nope,.....did not work....i.e. still opened in Work Offline mode..... I had the same problem and tried searching for the answer. No such luck, but I did find a small work around concerning NetworkManager that doesn't involve completely uninstalling it. See the post I made regarding this on my site:
