hi. from one day to another firefox3 quit displaying youtube videos. All I see is a white page instead of the vid.

Just take a look at the screenshot. I tried to disable every add-on I have installed, but still no youtube video would work.
Anyone of you has a sugestion for me what could be the problem?

hmm, I just found out I can actually watch it with piclens. If that helps you finding a workaround for my problem.

Instead of disabling your addons, have you tried Firefox's safe mode?

Also try Flash 10 beta 2.

I've started Firefox's safe mode and it still won't work.
Installing Flash 10 also didn't make youtube work.

Any other ideas? :(

Delete all your cookies related to youtube then try again. And make sure you don't have them block with Adblock, flahsblock, etc.

hmm, deleted all my cookies related to youtube, still no effect. also disabled adblock and still no video showing.

its seems that just youtube isn't working, other sites work fine, for example:
http://media.putfile.com/Cute-74
http://www.myvideo.at/watch/4637806
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=c ... oogle.com#

just youtube wont work :(

any ideas?

not showing for me either. maybe the site is broken itself?

edit: I use flashblock. normally a vid will load up and it's blocked by flashblock and you hit the flashblock symbol and it plays. well, i totally disabled flashblock for youtube and they work again. you have flashblock? must be a bug in flashblock because i disabled flash for youtube again and got the normal block with the play button but this time they played.

If you have NoScript active, make sure that both youtube.com and yimg.com are allowed.

I also had a problem with Youtube playing on Firefox 2.0.0.16. They played OK earlier and then they stopped after about 2 sec. The progress bar carried on but no sound and the picture was stuck.
I posted on a different message board and got several answers. This Zip fixed it.

First you go to Control panel > add and remove and remove adobe flashplayer and then carry on with what's in the zip.
Hope it works for you.

Sorry that the link did not work. I copied and pasted it. :-( Glad somebody else had the right one.

The zip just has the flash uninstaller and the flash 10 beta 1 installers. Why not just link to the Adobe website?
