subscribe to feedburner

Post by willi.uebelherr »

Dear friends,
i use TB 45.8.0 and have ca. 50 feeds subscribed.
Today i want subscribe to Zero Hedge feeds, working with feedburner. But Tb don't accept it. With W3C i get the response:

For http://feeds.feedburner.com/zerohedge/feed?format=xml

This is a valid RSS feed
Recommendations
This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
line 4, column 13: title should not be blank [help]
<title />
line 150, column 0: description should not contain iframe tag (2 occurrences) [help]
<p><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="htt ...
line 229, column 0: description should not contain script tag (4 occurrences) [help]
<script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script><p&g ...

But there are no critical errors. Why Tb don't accept it?
many greetings, willi

Per RSS2.0 spec, <title> and <description> are mandatory, the feed has neither. The validator is wrong in this case. Inform the publisher to fix the feed per spec. Also, it may be useful to read the guide: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ho ... -and-blogs
