I currently have thunderbird set up with three cox emails and I want to add a fourth one which is a gmail account. I'm following instructions I find by googling, but it's not working. For some reason it says that the user name and password do not match. Now when I try to setup, it says "incoming server already exists". But I don't see that mail account setup in my thunderbird. So, what am I doing wrong?
Can someone please guide me.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Gmail . It wants the full email address as the username. If you have "two step authentication" enabled (not recommended) you need to generate a application specific password and use it with Thunderbird.
Does Cox use Gmail servers configured to use Cox's domain rather than provide their own email server?
