Hello,
My problem with Thunderbird is as follows, I have entered several email accounts and when doing so, I have ticked the option to remember the password. But, from time to time, some of the accounts (sometimes even all of them) require to reenter the password. This is not happening when I try to send an email, but just like that, in thin air.
What could be causing this?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Thunderbird email accounts require password
Some email providers do that when the mail server is overloaded. None of the major free email providers do that AFAIK.
If you enter a good password several times in a row and its always rejected you may have run into a bug where after a hard connection failure any password is rejected. The workaround for that is to delete the saved password, exit (since the deleted password is still in memory) and restart. When prompted enter the password and check the checkbox to save it. However, that doesn't seem like what you're running into.
