Hi: tbird 52.5.0 stable, w7. The "click on link" in an email no longer functions. Is this an issue w/tbird or do I need to reset my tbird install? Note that the choices given in options (yahoo, bing, etc.) aren't the ones I want to use. Normally, google is the default, but I'm using 32-bit chrome in its own dir (not letting chrome choose its own dir). I've read the "changing the default browser" moz-zine article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Changing_the_ ... hunderbird
and I'd done that years ago. "Openwith" addon apparently won't work w/tbird.
Advice?
Thank you.

Re: manually set default browser
My first thought is that something trashed your setting for the default browser. It has happened to me. Try setting it again. However, if you don't want Thunderbird to use the default browser see Changing the web browser invoked by Thunderbird
The problem with the "open with" add-on is that its a legacy add-on that worked for both Thunderbird and Firefox, which has now been converted to a webextension add-on just for Firefox. So if you want to use it you need an older version from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... sion-6.8.6 . If you run into a similar problem with another add-on, click on the see all versions link to find the old version that supports Thunderbird.
