HI - I can use any hex color code while writing an email
but there is no way I can update hex code in settings.
I think there must be configuration file where thunderbird store these settings. Please let me know the location and name of this file so that I can update hex code manually in that file.

The following keys for the color picker in the compose window are stored in the xulstore.json file.
* LastTextColor
* LastBackgroundColor
The following preferences set the colors in the options composition general tab.
* msgcompose.text_color
* msgcompose.background_color
