You can use a -profile "full path to profile" command line argument to specify the profiles location with a Mozilla build of Thunderbird. That totally ignores profiles.ini (or the lack of one).
Mozilla Thunderbird is up to BL5 for 102. There is a version of 102 BL3 for Portable Thunderbird at https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/ ... table/test . I've used 102 BL3, its good.

Finally I risk deleting the accounts in TB but only configuration. I recover everything adding again.
