Export mail address book seems to be gone...

Post by Trout Fisher »

Hello,

Have not long updated to build 102.3.0.

I note that when I try to export an address book, the option to export to .ldif is no longer supported, and instead I am presented with an option to export my mailbox to .zip... That doesn't help me share the address book on its own in. csv or .ldif for members of committees I sit on.

Whats the way forward, as I do not want to have to sieve through the contents of the .zip to provide the address book to said committee members, along with instructions to import for what are largely non-pc savy persons. Importing a .ldif was difficult enough for them.

Thanks,

You can still save the address book(s) as a csv file.

Open Address Book
Click on the one you want to highlight it.
(You'll see three dots - ... - on the right)
Click on the three dots.
Click on Export from the pop-up menu.
(The default save as option should be csv)

Hope this helps.

Hey - thank you very much - I never would have thought of a right-click function. That also allows export to .ldif, so I am about to import that to a vanilla test profile. Fingers crossed!
