I am trying to move from POP to IMAP. I select all of the emails from my POP account in the sent folder (over 9000), and am trying to copy them using the "copy to" command in Thunderbird to the sent folder in my new IMAP account. I get the following error. Please help.

Have you tried copying a small number of message at a time? Just to see if the server is choking on the volume of data.

I'm hesitant to try that because there would be a massive amount of small numbers of messages. I have over 9,000 emails in my sent folder. I will try it as a last resort, though. Could this error be related to the fact that I only have five GB of space with my hosting plan? I did get an email today saying my five GB plan has used all of its space.

That would seem to suggest that there is no space available to your account on the server to which you can copy additional data.I did get an email today saying my five GB plan has used all of its space.
Again, try to copy 50 or 100 messages and see what happens. This is not recommended as a solution but just as an experiment to see if any transfer to that account will work.

Thanks, Dan. I upgraded my hosting plan to unlimited and then copied 100 messages. It worked. I then copied the remainder of the over 9,000 emails and it worked this time.
