I usually have problems with Thunderbird when I receive messages with large attachments (e.g., more than 4/5 MB per attachment). I try to save the attachments but only a few KB of each attachment are downloaded, so only a partial downloading takes place. When this happens, I try to open the message in another tab (thinking that maybe the message was not completely downloaded, even though all the message's text is shown), but with no impact. The only solution I find in these cases is to connect directly to the email server through its web interface and download the attachments from there, without using Thunderbird.
Any idea? Thank you very much.

Re: Large attachments not downloaded
* How is that mail account set up, as POP or IMAP?
* What version of Thunderbird?
* What version of Thunderbird?

Re: Large attachments not downloaded
The account is set up as IMAP. My current Thunderbird version is 102.9.0 (32-bit) in Windows (I also work with Mac and it is likely that I have also found this problem in Mac).

Re: Large attachments not downloaded
Any idea about why this might be failing? Is there any way to "force" a complete message download?
