Hi!

Excuse my bad English. I use a translation program. :-)

I just installed Mozilla Thunderbird V2.0.0.23.
I also installed my 2 email IMAP accounts, and have discovered
a disturbing problem. When I double click on an email in my INBOX, the
email opens in a new window in WRITE mode (Edit as new) instead
of READ mode (Open message in new window).

The problem occurs only with email in my INBOX. When I double
click on an email in another folder, the email opens in a new
window in READ mode (Open message in new window).

How do I resolve this problem?

I suspect you somehow configured the account to use the inbox folder as the drafts folder. Go to tools -> account settings -> copies & folders -> "drafts and templates" and change the drafts folder to be something else (such as the drafts folder in local folders).

Thank you very much. That was what was wrong. :-)

I have another question. I changed the name of some sub-folders in one of my email accounts.
But when I restart Thunderbird the old sub-folders AND the new sub-folders apperars, but
the old one can not be opened. It does not help to remove subscription from the old folders.
How do I update the folder list?

When I refresh the folder list in Outlook Express then the old folders disappears.

Enter the code exactly as it appears. All letters are case insensitive, there is no zero.
