I have several gmail accounts set up in Thunderbird and all the passwords are saved so the program can easily grab all my mail when i open it.
Just recently 2 of my accounts have been saying that the pop.gmail.com server is saying either my password or username is wrong. I went and tried getting my email from the gmail website and both the username and password work correctly there for both accounts.
I have Thunderbird version 2.0.0.21 (20090302)
I set up all the accounts using the gmail option included with Thunderbird so it is not user error.
Also all my other accounts work.
Thu8nderbird keeps saying I have the wrong password.

Re: Thu8nderbird keeps saying I have the wrong password.
Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > PRIVACY > PASSWORDS > EDIT SAVED PASSWORDS and there you can delete saved passwords. The next time you "Get Mail" Thunderbird will ask for the password and you can check the box to remember the value.
