Hello,

How can I stop thunderbird sending information such as:

Received: from my-macbook-pro.local (me.plus.com [212.XXX.XXX.XXX])

when I send emails?

Thanks,

Rod Whiteley

Thunderbird does not do that. Your mail server does it in accordance with Internet mail standards. You can try adding a String preference named mail.smtpserver.default.hello_argument containing different information, but what effect it has depends on your mail server. For example, mine is set to: localhost

It is not there by default. You have to add it yourself.
