OS X Mountain Lion stops SMTP

This looks to be a TB issue more than OS X issue. According to the Release Notes for TB 15.0b1: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbir ... uirements/, 10.8 is not listed as a supported version yet:

Mac OS X 10.7

I have a similar problem. I can neither send or receive emails via Thunderbird after upgrading to Mountain Lion even after re-installing TB.

This sucks.

Sorry I didn't give the error console log. That has no errors prior to today.

Mail-> Preferences ->Click on account->Choose advance (on the top right)-> change authentication to: Authenticated POP(APOP).

Problems with Mail 6.0 in OS X Mountain Lion, with me I can receive mail but cannot send, but on other servers I can send. Not sure what is going on here, but if anyone gets a solution please let me know

I think there is more than one issue here I think. Have you tried re-installing Thunderbird? It worked for me. Matt N, who filed bug 777631, thinks it might be an Apple issue, as Apple Mail has similar issues (but not for me!). Has anyone filed the bug with Apple?
