TB deletes my income box mails

Post by noam besser »

Hi all users,

I'm using TB over the last years to my plenary satisfy .

Yesterday, 28th of July ,TB was updated to 38.1.0 version.

After the update, some Inbox mails were selected for labelling "do it later" using "ctrl+a".

All emails in the inbox were selected and deleting messages process began, without an explicit instruction to do so, or any further confirmation to a warning of deleting mails. Warning didn't showed up at all.

As I understand it was impossible to stop the process, but by an exit from the program.

Uninstalling and reinstalling TB have failed to stop the deleting process.

Since then and until now more than 100 important files from my in-box mail have been permanently deleted (checked by using Gmail)

Every login the program, the process of deleting files still run without any possibility to stop.

It seems that TB also downloads mails from the "All Mail" box , but I can't figure out where the mails are transferred.

In order to continue using TB, I would welcome any advice to overcome this problem.

Thanks in advance
Noam.
