Hi,
I have a google account, with filters and folders. Lets say I have a filter from *@xxx.com, and I set it as "avoid Inbox folder and place it XXX folder". Every time I receive an email from xxx.com, Thunderbird doesnt display the warning (1) next to the folder name. It can happen at any time. But, if I click on the folder, immediatly get refreshed and show it up. Its very annoying because I dont know if I received an email from this domain until I click on this folder. Sometimes, it shows the warning (1) but is aboslutely random, it can be 1 minute or 28 hours. Ofc I have multiple accounts and multiple folders on each account, so its really annoying. Its been happening since a lot, and a complat format of the computer didnt resolve it.
Thanks all.

Re: Not displaying received emails in folders
How is that account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Check under menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type.
