Disable middle-click open message in new tab?

Post by klmanheimer »

Same problem - wanting to scroll the message list using the middle mouse scroll function (rather than having to carefully move the mouse to the scroll bar), but winding up opening whatever message happens to be under the mouse, in a new tab, in the process.

I poked at the various about:config

Code: Select all

middlemouse.*
settings, but none seem to be affect this behavior.

I would also like to disable this behavior. Please don't tell me to get a new mouse. Thanks.

You would need to create an extension to disable the middle click feature in the thread pane.

You cannot disable the feature by changing a preference.
