Hi Team,
I am new to linux and thunderbird. Currently we have installed thunderbird on cent os and we have configured email for journalling. When the inbox size reaches 4gb it does not allow us to receive any email. I created a Archive folder in Local folder and made a rule to transfer the messages to this folder however after 4 GB it still gives the same error.
Is there a way I can increase the size limit to more than 4GB for the MBOX file.
Its urgent please help.
Thanks,
Mitesh Jain
Need to increase MBOX size limit to more than 4 GB.

Re: Need to increase MBOX size limit to more than 4 GB.
Hi DanRaisch,
Thanks for the article I was able to solve the problem using MAILDIR feature. I edited about:config file in thunderbird to store each email in a MBOX filde instead a single MBOX file. Now 4 GB is not a limit anymore.
