thunderbird script error chrome://messenger/content/toolbari

Post by ispalten »

Just started today after a mail fetch. Sort of hung on a GMAIL fetch. Then the error dialog box opened.

Seems to possibly be related to McAfee, I have Live Safe, but I disabled the scanning of e-mails?

I'm on TB 45.2.0.

This just started today. Now it hangs for a period of time, and produces the dialog box eventually on startup. Doesn't seem to matter if I continue or stop, seems to take the same amount of time before TB becomes responsive?

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

I may have fixed it? Started looking at ADD-ONS...

Disabled 2.

- McAfee Anti-Spam Thunderbird Extension (I have not enabled it though, Anti-Spam is disabled).
- Another one that had to do with icons on the toolbar, but it isn't in the list now?

So far TB starts OK now?

Not sure what is going on but I don't need the McAfee one anyway?

I'll keep an eye on it and if it happens again I'll restart in Safe Mode.
