Opening a folder takes forever

I'm coming up empty - not sure what best to search on. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cg ... hunderbird is a starting point. Can you refine it?

I've lost memory of this conversation. If the reporter or you have a reproducible testcase in safe mode, and don't find an open bug, then please someone file a new bug report
