Automatic reinstal Llightning by update
Today I updated Thunderbird succesfully to version 45.5.0. But in the previous version I had Lightning removed and it is now unexpected reinstalled within the update?

REF: Integration into Thunderbird | Thunderbird HelpStarting with Thunderbird 38, the calendaring extension Lightning has been packaged with Thunderbird.
If you remove it, it will be reinstalled on an update. Just disable it if you don't want to use it.

Re: Automatic reinstal Llightning by update
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1182629 (Thunderbird update re-enables disabled Lightning) is a confirmed bug. Start with comment 13 where other users report the error occurred with automated updates, since the original author ran into this problem when "over-installing" a new version.
One of the Thunderbird developers requested that anybody running into this problem try to reproduce it again (perhaps the next minor update) after setting extensions.logging.enabled set to true, and attach the log file to the bug report.
