Spam filter gone crazy dismissing my best friends.
This is very serious: Without me having changed anything TB all of a sudden, since some 10 days, throws my best friends in the garbage bin!
Which TB version I have I cannot see in the Help dialog (another problem), but it's fairly recent.
Please give me an explanation,
Ingemar Saevfors

Moving to Thunderbird Support.
* How is that mail account set up, as POP or IMAP?
* Do you regularly compact your folders? Check http://kb.mozillazine.org/Compacting_folders for more information on compacting folders.
* Have you set Thunderbird to "not automatically mark mail as junk if the sender is in:" and select an address book to use as a white list?

POP accounts can be more sensitive to issues relating to compacting.

Try logging onto that account's webmail page using a browser and try to delete those folders in that environment.
