For some reason Thunderbird has added this Sync Folder when syncing to Outlook. The folder is not apparent when i check the web-interface of Outlook and when trying to delete it i get a "command argument error 11".
Does anyone know what's wrong?

How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

What do you mean by a sync folder? A remote folder in a IMAP account that has a corresponding offline folder (due to synchronization&storage settings saying to store messages for this account on the computer)?
What folder is it?

There's a Sync Folder apparent in TB and nowhere else. Regarding the size issue i have no e-mail which is too large, already checked the sent folder and the deleted folder. So i have no idea to get rid of it. Thanks for the links anyway even though they didn't solve my problem.tanstaafl wrote:What do you mean by a sync folder? Re: Sync folder appearing for no reason
You might need to resort to enabling IMAP logging per http://kb.mozillazine.org/Session_logging_for_mail/news to find out whats going on. If you upload the log file to something like Dropbox and post a link I'd be happy to take a look at it. Its a plain text file so it would be easy for you to search it before uploading to prove to yourself it doesn't log your password. However, it will have references to your email address as part of a URL string. I suggest you do a global search and replace of your username with something generic.

Thanks! Though i have solved my problem. I had Thunderbird subscribing to the Sync Folders which Outlook generates. I unsubscribed them and now they are gone.
