"Random Image" Appearing in Signature

Post by Codee »

Hi,
I am using Thunderbird, and I have created a HTML signature that contains a image for our e-mail. It is basically some HTML code that pulls a image off our website and uses it as the "LOGO" of the signature.

<IMG SRC="http://www.example.com/test.jpg" NAME="graphics1" ALIGN="LEFT" WIDTH="174" HEIGHT="82" BORDER="0"></font></a><font size="5"><br CLEAR="LEFT">

However, we are noticing that if a message is forwarded or reply-ed to several times, a random image sometimes appears in the logo image placeholder(usually on the original message that has been replied to; newer replys contain the correct logo). The random image appears to be from a random website or random e-mail THAT WE VISITED OR VIEWED.

Worse, it appears we do not know when it will happen and there is no apparent indication that the image is being changed. It is hard to repeat the situation.

I was wondering if the NAME = "graphics1" could be pulling some other graphic1 from some other webpage or e-mail that contains some similar field.

Any insight will be helpful, or if you know a better way to display the image in the HTML code.

Thanks for your help!
