Change the outgoing server for identity. [solved]
Can't find that option anywhere and it definitely was there.
Where did it go?
[Thunderbird 45.8.0 / Mac]

Re: Change the outgoing server for identity. [Mac.]
Your settings window is definitely missing the info at the bottom, 'Private Data' that includes the SMTP selection. Does it look the same if you launch TB in safe mode (hold Option when you start TB), which has the effect of using the default toolbars and window layout?
There are some files you can delete, such as xulstore.json, which are automatically recreated, that might indicate the source of the problem.

If it worked before the latest update, a stopgap measure would be to downgrade to the previous release:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/ ... 5.7.1/mac/

Re: Change the outgoing server for identity. [Mac.]
Have tried all approaches last night, no luck whatsoever.
Actually the solution was dead simple, I would never have got to that without a suggestion in the German forum:
The option was never gone, I only had to resize the window.
