Copying addresses to Mailing List

Created mailing list. Have a long list of addresses saved in a .csv file which I imported. I cannot copy the list of addresses into the mailing list. I have carefully following the instructions on web for doing this but only one address gets copied into the mailing list, instead of the 76 copied, and which I attempt move.

I followed Option 2. Followed the directions. A message in the task bar says '81 contacts copied' (so far so good) yet opening the mailing list shows only one address.

Option 2 describes dragging and dropping the selected contacts in the address book window to the mailing list in order to add the email addresses. That has nothing to do with a .csv file as far as I can tell. Once a contact has been imported it doesn't matter how you imported it. I had originally thought you were trying to import info directly from a .csv file that was open in a text editor into a mailing list, which didn't seem possible.

If I create a mailing list (even if its empty) I have no problem dragging and dropping selected contacts from the same address book to it. However, if I don't press the OK button to finish creating the mailing list it won't let me select contacts, so I can't drag and drop them. i.e. don't skip "2. Close the window by clicking OK. "
