problem forwarding to a particular address

My wife and I both use the latest version of thunderbird to access our gmail accounts. I have recently discovered that messages she forwards to my gmail address never arrive. She can send me a message. When she forwards a message to another email I have, it arrives just fine. She receives no error message after forwarding. This has just started happening recently. Anybody have any ideas?

See if the same problem occurs if she forwards it using webmail (a browser). I'm NOT suggesting that as a workaround, its just to help troubleshoot.
