Hello,
I can connect to the server, but all of a sudden emails stopped loading.
This has been going on for about a week.
After trying all the fixes in the user forums, I am writing to see if other ideas arise.
Windows 7
Pop 3 - Already contacted ISP and host...working fine there.
The settings are all correct.
I already deleted passwords, uninstalled - reinstalled - deleted files, etc.
Any thoughts?

Re: Can't load emails
* Who is your mail provider? Your ISP, corporate e-mail system or Web-based?
* Are you using an antivirus and/or a firewall program? Which one(s)?
* Do you regularly compact your folders? Check http://kb.mozillazine.org/Compacting_folders for more information on compacting folders.
* What files did you delete?

Mediatemple is my server for email / Xfinity is my ISP
Notron Internet Security - exception is created to always allow thunderbird
Yes...compact them daily
Deleted all files with an .msf extension (saw this in an old forum as a possible fix)

Re: Can't load emails
Close Thunderbird. Log onto the server using a browser and delete the oldest message not yet downloaded to Thunderbird. Launch TB and test.

Re: Can't load emails
Sometimes a message with a malformed header will block Thunderbird's download of it and all messages following. Unfortunately, rather than report that to the user or download the following messages, Thunderbird just "chokes" and fails to download anything.

Re: Can't load emails
Is there a bug report on this somewhere? I can contribute sample email headers (always some spam for me) that cause Thunderbird to choke.
