Hi,
I've just been moved to Thunderbird from Windows Mail where I could select individual addresses from the address book and click them into the address bar (to, cc or bcc). Can this be done in Thunderbird? At present it only accepts one address and only offers me a small section of the address book at any one time to choose from so if for instance I want to copy an email to several people I have to type their addresses in indivdually, whereas I would like to be able to access the complete address book and click multiple selected addresses from there into an address bar. Grateful for advice.

There is an equivalent feature using the contacts sidebar. You can enable it by either pressing F9 or selecting View -> Contacts Sidebar when composing a message. The setting is sticky. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Enter_email_addresses . Thunderbird also supports mailing lists, which are convenient if you frequently send a message to the same group of people. Many thanks. Sticky stuck and shortcut created to the info page for when another issue comes up. Thanks for showing me that as well.
