Problem With Mediacom Mail

I am trying to add another email account to Thunderbird 52.0.1 (32-bit) but its not accepting any of the data I have entered.

I tried to create a new account and enter the info for the mediacom account
user xxx
email address xxx@mediccombb.net
password !@##@$&*(%$%$#%$

Thunderbird then says "Thunderbird failed to find settings for your email account"

I have tried every combination I can think of and still does not work.

I open the settings of another working @mediccombb.net account and try to duplicate the settings in the new account I am trying to create
POP Mail server
Server name mail.mediccombb.net
Port 995
Username xxx
SSL/TLS
Normal Password

No mater what I enter I never get past the Error "Thunderbird failed to find settings for your email account"

Suggestions?

I have even tried
mail.mediacombb.net
.mediacombb.net
mediacombb.net
