Fresh load of ThunderBird. Recieved 93 of 140 then stopped/

Fresh install of ThunderBird.
Created a new profile which connected to inbound.att.net Port 995 and started to download mail 1 of 140

Downloading stopped with "no messages to download" after 93 messages.

Hit "get messages' and downloading of 1 of 47.
Stayed at 1 of 47 then stopped with "no messages to download"

start it again
Hit "get messages' and downloading of 1 of 48.
Stayed at 1 of 48 then stopped with "no messages to download"

Open the account from webmail and look for the messages that haven't downloaded to TB, then delete them one-at-a-time until the corrupted one has been removed and normal downloading to TB resumes.

I was able to move mail to a folder on the mail server thru the web interface.
I moved 3 emails before ThunderBird downloaded the rest.

Is there some project to allow ThunderBird to skip a bad email?

Not that I'm aware of, and besides it may depend on the mail server software having the ability to identify and skip corrupted messages.
