TB 52.0.1 marks new email as read and does not announce it with the audible tone in one of my email accounts.
The only difference that I can see is that all email in this account is automatically forwarded to another email address.
I see nothing in the setup for the account that would cause this to happen.
I have no add-ons in TB.

So you are using filters in Thunderbird to automatically forward messages received in Thunderbird to another account, is that right?
