Viewing message from top

Hi there,

tbird 52.0.1
on osx 10.10.5

I notice after some of the recent updates the message pane behavior has changed. When I go to read the next message my view goes to the middle of the message instead of the top of the message. How can I control that? I want to always go to the top of the message.

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
