How Do I Shrink TB? It's Gotten a Bit Bigger

Its not supposed to go to the trash. Its gets permanently deleted when you compact the folder. I don't remember if gmail webmail shows deleted messages with a line through them or it hides them. Thats up to them. I have a Fastmail IMAP account. Its webmail will display messages deleted by a email client with a line through them. However, any messages you delete using webmail are hidden.

Under "just mark it as deleted," mail marked for deletion gets deleted by itself after 20 secs! How the goddamn is that possible?
