Thunderbird 52.1.1 can not sent MAIL MERGE

WIth version 52.1.1 I can not sent emails using MAIL MERGE complement, as {{email}} is not seen as a valid email address, and the SENT button is not activated.

Or am I missing something?

Moving to Thunderbird Support.

This is not a bug because the mail merge function is coming from an extension and is not part of the standard Thunderbird product. Note that that extension has not been updated since July of last year and there may be incompatibilities with the latest releases of Thunderbird.

If you think there is a bug the add-on web page has a email address to contact the author. What was the last version it worked for you?

In the end it did work : the button sent us Grey, but the menu "mail merge" can be selected.
