Re: Urgent help needed to recover deleted mail
I suggest you backup your profile before you try anything. The simplest way is to use Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Show Folder to open your systems file manager at the current profile, and then copy/paste that directory somewhere safe. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup for some alternatives.
I just installed the recover deleted messages add-on from https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/index-en.html#recDelMsg using Thunderbird 52.1.1 under Windows 10. I deleted a message in Local Folders and used the add-on to recover it. Note that the add-on doesn't support IMAP accounts, and can't recover a deleted message if Thunderbird has compacted the folder.
Did you try the Edit -> Undo Delete Message menu command?
The article also mentions a Thunderbird Reset Status utility (not an add-on). You may get a warning from Firefox when clicking on the link that it is a "reported unwanted software site". I think those reports are bogus but you need to make your own decision.
The KB article also has a Edit the X-Mozilla-Status: header in the mbox file section that describes how you can use a text editor to edit the mbox file that contains the deleted message. I'd try that last as its the trickiest.

"I tried Edit -> Undo Delete Message menu command but did not find any"
That is a bad sign. Its added to the top of the Edit menu only if Thunderbird thinks there is a deleted message.
