Dan, I don't understand how to use those links, do I do something with the command prompt or the run box???? I know you are rying to help but I now nothing about code. Thanks

No, that does not require the command prompt or run box. Using Windows Notepad you can create a file named userChrome.css and save it to a directory named chrome. That chrome folder may not exist in your profile so you'll need to create that also if that is the case. The code shown in the link above should be entered into the userChrome.css file. Do all that with Thunderbird closed, then start Thunderbird to see if the font size is to your liking. If you wish to make it larger, increase the value of the point side, changing the 11 in "font-size: 11pt !important" to 12 or more.
