[Solved]TB display

Post by sajjansinghania »

I tweak these every time before I close but this is not saved. I have Speedyfox add on running at TB start. Can this prevent save ?
You can determine if the extension is causing that by launching Thunderbird in Mozilla Safe Mode --- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
I tried TB on safe Mode. Also, I have disabled, removed, reinstalled Speedyfox. Nothing works.

I have one Yandex mail account. Perhaps this site is blocked, therefore whatever I do on TB a warn window appears :
Have you confirmed that the settings for that Yandex account are all valid? You could try increasing the timeout value -- http://kb.mozillazine.org
I tried to access Yandex Mail on FF. It did not access Yandex Mails. Then I contacted their Help. Problem was at their end. Sorted.

DanRaisch Sir.
Thank you for instant reply.
I am a diehard fan of TB using it for about two decades. It is because of your strong support to users. I shall observe closer, my TB under your instruction for a couple of days, then come back to report.
Thanks once again Sir.

OK. I try to explain results on your suggestions.
1. I have about 11-12 extensions. I have started safe mode and checked every extension, including Speedyfox. Apparently my extensions do not cause error. It was same with all or any of them. Here I say, I use TB for long time with same extensions but this problem cropped up only 4-6 weeks back, without any knowingly tweaking or changing my TB settings.
2. I went to http://kb.mozillazine.org/Modify_Thunde ... on_timeout but did not dare to tweak my settings. Instead I tried different way. I tried to log into Yandex. Google search shows Yandex/Yandex mail but it does not enter into site. Server not found (try again) Error. I also tried to take snapshot but snapshot also failed with error. Looks like this site is blocked on my entire computer.
Thank you Sir.
